Default Nahpui HM?

I'm finding this really hard to accomplish. I'm running as a ranger. The damage of the star blades, lights & sentinels + the celestialials are too overpowering. :S
Can anyone give me any guidance with this?

Try running a protection bar on a monk hero, really helps.

If you don't have heroes (unlikely, but this is Factions) go with the two Healer henchmen (if both are in a party, one switches to Prot) the Ritualist hench, 2 eles (Earth and Fire), one aggro-happy melee like Devona to run into a mob and keep some of the aggro, and either the Mesmer henchman or one of the Necro ones. If you're a ranger, I suggest packing BHA and hitting the casters early on (Star Lights, bosses).

If you DO have access to Heroes, I found Sabway to work very well here. My MM didn't have that many corpses to exploit, but there are usually some Tengu around all the celestials, so the MM won't run out of corpses. Am using the older variant with PS and Aegis on the bar, to help the party.

If you have EotN and the PvE skills, take Pain Inverter, it helps a lot against most of the enemies, especially the AoE hitting ones, like the horsies with Signet of Judgment.

Ether renewal Prot on myself worked wonders for keeping the mad dmg down.

The only moderately difficult part was the last boss (kirin I think) and his big group. But everything can be pulled in small groups of 3-4 enemies, and you have plenty of time to do it.

I was set as BHA ranger with Pain Inverter and Finish Him, with minion bomber, SS necro and a hybrid prot monk as heroes.
Henchmen was Devona, Sister Tai, Cynn and Kai Ying.

Don't rush, pull small groups and it's really easy, almost boring.

I found this one moderately challenging to H+H because of aggro control issues with mobs on multiple levels. I had to drop MM because of aggro issues (and turtles steal corpses anyway). Also it's easy to get lost on the way.

I would recommend starting with the kirin, then the turtle, then the dragon. After the dragon do not continue forward which would be the most obvious route, but instead take a sharp turn to the right. There's an alternate route which shaves a good 2-3 minutes from the run time. With the final boss (phoenix) pull and finish the bird-folk patrols first, then ignore everything else and gank the boss.

i did this with my mesmer with h/h though i cannot remember how i actually did it.
But there is alot of physical damage, and those fricken air eles, prot spirit, wards of melee and stuff like that should help.

When I did it I used perma-Shadow to solo three of the bosses then had my girlfriend with a team of 7 h/h take as much of the remaining 20 minutes to carefully pull and be sure of the last boss kill.

This is before the Shadow Form buff, so it's probably even easier now. Make sure to take ignorance for dealing with whichever of the Monk/Mesmer bosses you choose to solo, as they're clearly the toughest with kd/interrupt.

Otherwise, just bring ample firepower to bring things down quickly. That's really all the advice I can throw your way =P.

MM + enfeebling blood (can be on MM or on another necro) + chan/rest rit with splinter weapon + 2 or more physicals on your team > 99.9% of PvE. Add in BHA on yourself and you will beat the other .1%.

Starting with the mesmer is usually the best idea as from that direction you kill the necro boss a lot later which is good because the necro spawns eats some corpses. If your MM doesn't have a full 10 minions by the last monk boss, you might want to make it a bit safer by pulling individual enemies away from them before fighting.

take 4 SF dagger sins, one with anti KD and have each rush a boss to score a completion time of under 5 mins.

Its also fun to solo for mass feathers+celestial weapons.

If soloing be sure ot take our mes and ele boss before the others. Kill the necro and his respawns before his mob so they have no corpses to use, leave the monk boss alone. Onceall stars+3 bosses are dead you can stay as lnog as you like with infinate spawning foes that can drop celestials.

Are you sure that works? I remember trying that out by making a hero group and just letting them spawn camp the spawns, and they stopped dropping items after about the 2nd respawn. Not to mention if that was possible everyone would be doing it by now, and celestials would be worth far less.

They do but at the same rate as other foes. So its more efficient to just go back, merch and restart. The star tengu drop celestials just as often as the celestials.
I just like staying there.

I am almost certain that is false. I had tested it before and the respawns did not drop items. If they did, people would just go AFK overnight, letting heroes kill endless respawns, then wake up to a huge amount of drops. I will test again though, Anet has bugged up parts of their game before with an update.

EDIT: They drop items now. Commencing AFK farming it as we speak. yay for game oversights.

Take BHA - Hybrid - MM - MM + 2 monk hench/2 war hench

I did it with a guildie so was much easier, but 2 mm's makes it laughable
